球墨铸铁活塞环的造型工艺有:一简体和双环铸造法两种。熔炼设备大部分为中频和工频电炉,球化剂为稀土镁合金。两种造型工艺比较,以双环铸造工艺的成品率较高、稳定;球铁环的铸造成品率还取决于铁水的化学成分、孕育方法及铁水在熔炼过程中的一系列冶金因素。

There are two ways of the foundry working: barrel-type casting and two-ring casting with power frequency furnace and medium frequency furnace used as major melting equipment, and rare earth Mg alloy as the nodulizer. The two-ring casting is higher and stable in yield; also the yield of cast nodular iron rings is depend upon chemical components of liquid iron, inoculation and some metallurgical factors when liquid iron in melting process.
