The history and current rules of naming asteroids are introduced. A list containing 43 asteroids which were named after Chinese scientists and 10 asteroids which were named after Chinese American scientists is presented. Information on number, name, Chinese name, date of discovery and discoverer is given. A brief introduction is given to each of the 43 scientists, and other 79 Chinese people whose names were used in asteroid naming are categorized.
