通过对虚拟用户的信息需求特点和信息行为的分析,阐述了虚拟图书馆在用户使用中的实际意义和价值,从而提出为了最大限度地满足网络环境下用户对专业学术信息资源的有效利用,必须加快虚拟图书馆的建设和研究,从资源、技术和服务上进行不断地创新。

This thesis discussed the practical significances and merits of virtual libraries by analyzing the information demand characteristics and information behavior of virtual users, thus advised that for the sake of satisfying users＇ effective using of specialty academic information resources in the network environment, we should expedite the construction and research of virtual libraries and make ceaseless innovation in aspects of resources, technologies and services.
