It is inevitable that mistranslations occur in the translation of Business English for the sake of limited knowledge level and expertise. Combining the translation practice of business English, the paper gave an in-depth analysis on a great many cases of mistranslations in terms of understanding and expressing, conducted multi-aspect diagnosis of the causes for mistranslations and gave proper prescriptions to avoid the sort of mistranslations.
