摘要
通过极限氧指数、水平垂直燃烧、锥形量热和电镜扫描等研究由双酚A双(磷酸二苯酯)(BDP)、聚磷酸铵(APP)及酚醛树脂(PR)组成的膨胀阻燃剂(IFR)对ABS树脂的阻燃作用,研究IFR对ABS树脂的阻燃性能和阻燃机理。结果表明:IFR阻燃剂添加量在30%左右,ABS氧指数达到29.9%,水平垂直燃烧通过UL94 V-0级,平均热释放速率下降50.9%,有效燃烧热平均值下降21.7%。扫描电镜观测发现:IFR阻燃ABS样品燃烧后能够形成连续、致密、封闭、坚硬的焦化炭层。
The effect of intumescent flame retardant (IFR) composed of bisphenol A bis (diphenyl) phosphate ester (BDP) ,ammonium polyphosphate(APP) and phenolic resins(PR) on ABS was investigated by limiting oxygen index(LOl), horizontal and vertical firing, cone calorimetry and scanning electron microscope. The results demonstrated that IFR was effective on the flame retardancy of ABS. It was also found that the ABS retarded by IFR could still pass UL94 V-O rating,and its limited oxygen index value could reach 29.9%. The cone experimental results showed that the av-HRR and av-EHC of the ABS retarded by IFR lowed 50.9% and 21.7% respectively than those of pure ABS. SEM observation revealed that the puffy, continuous, intact, strong and coking charred layers were formed by lots of closed bubbles in ABS specimen filled with IFR after burning.
