The relation between urban planning and public policy was discussed, and the importance of establishing public policy was illustrated. The establishment goal of public policy was generalized from human settlement environment construction, urban public space management, renovation of city villages and city farm, so as to implement harmonious development of urban economic society and enhance the living standard of people.
