According to electrolytic aluminium multi - purpose crane operation in electrolytic aluminium workshop, operation conditions of the crane's girder is explored and thus its force model is simplified. The simplified methods of calculating the girder's strength and stiffness are given, as well as the factors that influence the strength and stiffness and the measures to improve the strength and stiffness.
