Analysis of Signal Transmission Characteristic Over MMF Link

摘要 多模光纤在光纤通信网中的应用日益广泛,介绍了高速局域网中多模光纤链路的传递函数,比较考虑二阶色散和三阶色散两种情况下,采用无啁啾DFB激光器,通过缓变折射率多模光纤传输射频信号。研究结果表明,射频信号传输不同的中长距离后,考虑三阶色散的信号传输特性中没有载波抑制效应,用窄线宽的光源工作在最小色散波长能使光信号的中继距离有所提高。 of a multimode Application of multimode fiber is increased in fiber communication network. Transfer function fiber link in high speed local area network is described. The two cases in consideration of considering the second order and the third order dispersion are compared. A free chirp DFB laser and graded-index fiber are employed. Simulation results indicate that the radio frequency signal over different medium and long distance fiber link has no carrier suppression effect in frequency response while considering the third order dispersion. Relay distance of radio frequency signal over fiber transmission can be improved by working at the minimum-dispersion wavelength and using narrow line-width laser.
