机构知识库(IR)是开放存取运动中推荐并蓬勃发展起来的一种学术资源整合和服务方式。图书馆应关注、追踪IR的发展,及时构建本机构的IR服务系统,为用户提供开放环境下的信息资源共享空间,为创建一个真正服务于学术信息交流的系统作出贡献。

IR is a way of academic resources integration and service and it develops quickly in the Open Access movement. Library should concern and track the development of IR, timely construct IR service system of its own, provide the users with information resources sharing space under the open condition and make contributions to the system construction really serving for the exchange of academic information. 7 refs.
