From Maverick to Game Player——Reflection on 30-year Politics-Business Relation

1978年，十一届三中全会召开，确立改革开放的大政方针。那一年，张宏伟做了城里人鄙夷的“黑包工”，成为夹缝中求生的“叛逆者”。

Private company entrepreneur has grown from the maverick to the game player with much speak power since 30 years ago and this is a historical improvement in terms of the relationship between politics and business.But even the new era has started,the marks from old times still exist.'Nationalized again'has became a frequently used term among scholars recently and the evolution of the relation between the politics and business seems reversed,with the government and state-owned companies getting strong again.Entrepreneurs who used to call on now change the way of playing games.They think that it is more advantageous to communicate with each other under the table than to challenge openly. However,'secret play'does harm to the open rules.In terms of openness,open but distorted play makes people anxious,too.Some entrepreneurs challenged the seriousness of contract spirit in the name of national interests or economic security,and the market economy rules which China has built up for several years.But many should follow them strangely. In a society with so many stake holders,the game playing needs the bottom line.Or so called market economy is nothing but disarray,like what scholar Li Shuguang described-'market economy chaos'. From chaos market economy to rule of law economy,and from'secret and distorted'play to'open and standard'play-this might be the eternal goal we are purchasing.
