This paper introduces the application of a frequency conversion control method with ABB ACS1000 and SIEMENS PLC together,which realizes the goal of saving energy alteration of cleaning smoke system in aluminum reduction plant,and describes emphatically the software function and design,the design of Profibus communication,etc.The experiment result shows that the method of above is stability,reliable,evident effect of saving energy,and is good application foreground.
