战略创业与家族企业创业精神的传承——基于百年老字号李锦记的案例研究 被引量:116

Starting an Undertaking in Terms of Strategy,and the Succession of Entrepreneurialism of Clannish Firms:a Case Study Based on Lee Kum Kee—a Century-old Shop

摘要 战略创业理论是研究家族企业跨代际传承的有力分析工具,家族企业通过跨代际间的战略创业不断打破内外部制度的约束,利用新的知识与能力推行新的战略举措,传承创业精神,实现家族企业资源更新与成长诉求。文章在已有研究的基础上,首先整理提出了家族企业战略创业与跨代际成长的研究框架;其后运用理论驱动型案例研究方法,有针对性地选择了已有120年历史,并成功实现了3代传承的李锦记集团作为研究对象,通过发掘有力的案例事实去验证和发展家族企业战略创业与跨代际成长的理论框架。深入研究后作者发现,制度创新与文化创新是家族企业进行战略创业的根本动力所在,家族企业通过治理结构变革、产业创新、家族企业资源的动态管理、内外部网络构建、国际化发展等一系列战略创业行为,不断突破现有约束,从而实现创业精神传承与跨代际持续发展。 The theory about strategically pioneering an enterprise (SPE) is a powerful tool with which to study the trans-generational growth of clannish firms. By means of trans-generational SPE,clannish firms have kept breaking the bonding of internal and external institutions,using new knowledge and ability to adopt new strategic measures and inheriting and passing on their entrepreneurialism to meet the purpose to renew and increase the resources of clannish firms. First,on the basis of current researches,we have created the framework for the study on the SPE and trans-generational growth of clannish firms; then,using the method of a theory-driven case study,taking as the object for our research a century-old shop called Lee Kum Kee Group that has a history of 120 years and that has succeeded in succession for three generations,and by digging out convincing facts related to our case study,we have tested and verified and developed the theoretic framework for the SME and trans-gen-erational growth of clannish firms. After thorough researches,we have discovered that institutional and cultural creation is the basic impetus to the SME of clannish firms,and that,by a series of behavior of SME such as the change in control structure,the innovation in industry,the dynamic management of the resources of clannish firms,the establishment of internal and external network,the internationalization-related development,keeping breaking through the existing shackles,the clannish firms have realized the succession of entrepreneurialism and the trans-generational sustained growth.
