The ZnPht [Pht=oC6H4(CO2)2-2] and double salt Zn9K3.9(OH)5.5Pht8.2·035H2Pht·4H2O were synthesized by semi solid reaction and solution reaction methods, respectively. Their infrared spectra and TG and DTA curves were measured. The crystal structures were characterized by powder Xray diffractometry. Both are monoclinic: for ZnPht a=11044, b=09687, c=25949 nm, β=9219°, for double salt a=17138, b=08343, c=16879 nm, β=11335°.
