The change of surface, morphology and surface function group of carbon fiber after treatment with mixed acid (15%KClO3+40%H2SO4) has been studied by XPS, spectrophotometry. Raman spectrometry and Xray diffractometry. Acid treatment showed an obvious possitive effect on the chemical modification of carbon fiber surface.
