An experimental study on the destruction of methylene chloride with concentration of 0 0959% in air has been carried out by using pulsed corona discharge. The results of the performance of positive polarity pulse discharge and negative pulsed discharge were compared. The effect of different materials of corona wire (rod) on the destruction efficiency of methylene chloride was studied. The conversion of methylene chloride over 90% was achieved by using pulsed corona discharge streamer in the presence of BaTiO 3 catalyst in the reactor.
