This paper expounds the necessity of the danger-removal and dam-reinforcement engineering of Yangpo Reservoir in Shanxi Province, makes comparative analysis on several schemes of the control damper room and spillway arrangement, and points out that the recommended scheme can reach the desired effects through the verification of the hydraulic model test.
