武术翻译是使中华传统武术走向世界,向世界宣传报道、介绍武术特色、民族文化的一种必然有效手段。在翻译过程中,对原语读者来说显而易见的文化内容,对于译入语读者来说,却是难于理解的,极易在译入语中形成文化上的空白,因此,武术术语英译要做到规范化、标准化、双语化。

Martial art translation is one kind of surely effective means making Chinese traditional martial art go globewide by propagating the characteristics and national culture. In translation process, one easy word for the origimal readers may be very diffeult to the target readers and makes some cultural gap, so the english translation of martial art teaehnical terms shoule be standard and bilingual.
