The preparation of N-acetyl-DL-threo-3-(4-methylsulfonylphenyl) serinate and its ethyl ester compound

ＤＬ－苏式－对甲砜基苯基丝氨酸及其乙酯衍生物是合成广谱抗生素甲砜霉素的重要中间体。利用乙酐对它们进行酰化，可分别获得Ｎ－乙酰－ＤＬ－苏式－对甲砜基苯基丝氨酸及Ｎ－乙酰－ＤＬ－苏式－对甲砜基苯基丝氨酸乙酯。一次结晶后的总收率分别为６３％和６８．７％。产物的结构经元素分析、红外光谱分析及质子核磁共振图谱分析后得到确认。

DLthreo3(4methylsulfonylphenyl) serinate and its ethyl ester are the important intermediates of the broadspectrum antibiotics, thiamphenicol and florfenicol. After acetylated with acetic anhydride, their Nacetylderivatives were obtained in 63% and 68.7% yields respectively. The products have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR and 1 HNMR.
