论美国西太平洋集体防务体系的整体性和矛盾性

On the Integrity and the Contradiction of US' Western Pacific Collective Defense System

美国在20世纪50年代建立西太平洋集体防务体系的目的在于藉此维护美国的利益,缔造该地区"美国治下的和平"。在建立西太平洋集体防务体系的整个过程中,美国一直希望缔结一个单一多边军事条约同盟,使该地区对共产主义力量的遏制形成一个整体。但是由于体系内部的矛盾性,最终西太平洋集体防务体系以多个双边和多边条约同盟的形式表现出来。整体性和矛盾性是研究美国西太平洋集体防务体系的两个基本出发点。

In the 1950s, the United States established the western Pacific collective defense system to maintain American na- tional interests and secure pax Americana. In the development process of this system, US had been regarding it as a whole and seeking to implement the integrity principle to conclude a single multilateral treaty of alliance. But owing to the many contradictions within the system, the United States couldn＇t ever achieve such a goal. The western Pacific collective defense system remained in the form of several bilateral and multilateral treaties. To better analyze this system, it is important to rec- ognize its integrity and contradiction.
