This paper introduces the modes of connection of medium voltage distribution network in common use, and analyzes their advantages and disadvantages. With economical development of city, the electrical network distribution needs the higher density and reliability. This paper also therefore discusses deeply how to improve the looped network rates and the supplying electricity ability by reforming and separating the electrical network, and furthermore proposes some comments about future reformation and development direction.
