The complex EPB shield machinery is popular to apply in the construction of the subway and the substructure work. However,because applied area of the cutter head and cutter of the shield machinery is very limited,the tunneling process will be influenced even to be damage in the changeable region. Therefore,whether we can choose the right tunneling method and parameters through judging the region condition quickly and accurately,especially in the special and difficult region or not,that has been the bottleneck to the development of the construction level of shield machinery.
