摘要
下一代正负电子直线对撞机(LC)是当今国际加速器研究领域的前沿课题。它自八十年代提出以来,对其关键技术、关键部件的研究取得重大进展。本文将介绍笔者近年来跟踪调研的有关下一代正负电子直线对撞机加速结构的研究进展情况。
Abstract Since the project on next generation linear collider (LC) was proposed in the middle of 1980s, great progress on it had been made. In this paper, R & D on LC structure are described. Various structures to suppress the longrange wake field within a train of bunches were suggested. And two kinds of them remain to be the actual candidates. One is “damped structure” and the other is “detuned structure”. The current status on LC structure at SLAC and KEK are also described.
