摘要
本文从有效质量近似理论出发,在量子阱导带内子带间光吸收分析的基础上,评述了n型量子阱红外探测器的光耦合。着重研究适宜于量子阱红外探测器的不同种类的光栅。
Abstract A detailed study of the quantum well intersubband absorption was performed in order to determine the way of the optical coupling to quantum well infrared detector, our theoretical derivation followed directly from the effectivemass theorem. For electrons occupying an energy valley described by spherical constant energy surface, a normalincidence radiation is forbidden, the grating structure usually be made on the surface of quantum well structures to improve the optical coupling and sensitivity. It was done that the analysis on different kinds of grating coupling efficiency as a function of the grating geometry. Result shows that high quantum efficiencies can be obtained by using optimum gratings.
