摘要
《坛经》的教育意蕴主要体现在以下几个方面:佛性自生的人学观;自悟自性的学习目的观;顿渐有别、顿悟为上的学习方法观;直提自性心源的教学观;学、思、行结合、自信自力的实践观。其不足之处表现在忽略了对天资略差的学习者的重视,主张的修行方法对于绝大部分学习者来说很难做到,主张的学习目的不符合普通人的需要。
"Tan Jing" is rich in the following educational values: human creatures have an innate kindness, the ultimate purpose of study is to recognize our own nature, the method of study is to learn by gradual awareness and instinct insight, teaching should take learners" nature into consideration, and learners should combine learning, thinking and actions and self - confidence in the course of practice. There are some points in "Tan Jing" that deserve further discussions. Not enough attentions have been given to disadvantaged learners, the advocated study method is far beyond most learners, and the advocated purpose of study is also contrast to the needs of ordinary learners.
