The Interpersonal Meaning of the Abstracts of Economic Research Papers of English-speaking Countries

目前,国内外对英语摘要的研究,有的归纳其一般特征,有的从语言学角度研究其语篇特征,也有的将相关学科的英语摘要与其对应的其他语言的摘要进行对比性研究。但是,文献表明,迄今尚没有人用功能语篇分析的方法研究英语国家的经济研究性论文的英语摘要的人际意义。

This paper intends to study the interpersonal meaning of the abstracts of the economic research papers of English-speaking countries from the perspective of systemic-functional grammar in order to help the economic researchers write English abstracts of economic papers and, in the meanwhile, prove that functional discourse analysis is effective in studying such discourses.
