海南胡椒提取物的急性毒性研究

Study on the acute toxicity of Hainan pepper extraction

目的:为了对胡椒提取物进行新药开发,为其进一步的药物研究提供依据,利用海南胡椒乙醇提取物进行急性毒性实验,以确定海南胡椒的安全性。方法:将海南胡椒乙醇提取物胡椒碱,通过对小鼠空腹经口灌胃,观察小鼠出现的毒性反应,测定半数致死剂量(LD50)。结果:大剂量灌胃后连续观察7 d,小鼠肝功能发生异常,且出现死亡,得出胡椒碱的LD50为0.4165 mg.kg-1。结论:胡椒碱在大剂量应用时具有一定的毒性,在进行药用开发时应考虑其安全性。

Objective： To explore the safety of Hainan pepper, from pepper extraction and find evidence for further research of medicine. with the intention to develop new drug Methods： The ethyl alcohol extraction piperine of Hainan pepper was filled into the stomach of mouse through the mouth and observed the toxic reaction , determined the median lethal doses （LD50）. Results： The LD50 was 0.416 5 mg. kg^-1 according to the experiment that the liver function of the mice impaired and some mice died after filled the stomach with large dose of piperine 7days. Conclusion： Piperine has certain toxicity in large dose ; developing new drug from pepper extraction should consider its security.
