枕头坝、沙坪水电站是大渡河干流规划中第19、20梯级,其建设将对区域经济产生一定的拉动作用,并对扩大就业有一定的帮助,而且可节约不可再生的能矿资源、减少二氧化碳等温室气体的排放。
