摘要
无论是从译者地位,还是从翻译标准,或是从翻译价值观等方面来看,传统译论都束缚了译者主体性的发挥,而把接受美学的诸多观点引进翻译研究会对译者的主体性起到彰显的作用。从接受美学的角度来分析霍克斯的《红楼梦》英译本,就是对译者主体性研究的一次实践。
Translator's subjectivity is always shadowed by the definition of traditional translation theories on the role of translators, the principles of translation and the value of translation. The theory of reception aesthetics is a good support for translators to free their subjectivity. It is a tentative practice to analyze the translator's subjectivity in Hawkes' version of The Story of the Stone from the perspective of reception aesthetics.
