Objective:To observe the characteristics of the changes in dynamic blood pressure in patients with primary hypertension of blood stasis syndrome(BSS). Methods:60 cases of primary hypertension were randomized into BSS group and non-BSS group. Simultaneously, 30 cases of health group were set up as normal control group. Dynamic blood pressure was monitored with non-invasive portable automatic monitor for all of the cases. It was to observe variability of dynamic blood pressure and alternative circadian rhythm, as well as blood lipid and indexes of liver and kidney functions. Results: The variability of dynamic systolic pressure in BSS and non-BSS groups was higher apparently than that in normal control group(P〈0.05 ,P〈0.01 ). The variability of dynamic systolic pressure in BSS group was higher apparently than that in non- BSS group (P〈0.05), and the variability of its dynamic diastolic pressure was higher apparently than that in control group (P〈0.01). Dipper pressure was predominated in non-BSS group and Non-dipper pressure was in BSS group. Significant differences did not presented in blood lipid and indexes of liver and kidney functions in comparison between hypertension groups and normal control group. Conclusion:Primary hypertension of blood stasis syndrome presents apparent alternations in variability of dynamic blood pressure and circadian rhythm which may be one of the indexes in micro differentiation for hypertension of blood stasis syndrome.
