摘要
标点符号在翻译的过程中起着重要的作用。对比分析杨宪益夫妇和大卫·霍克斯对《红楼梦》的两个译本，标点符号在两个译本章回标题中使用的情况不同，译本也因而呈现出不同的风格。
Punctuation plays an important role in translation. A comparison between two different translations of“A Dream of Red Mansions” made by YANG Xian-yi couple and David Hawkes respectively reveals the different use of punctuation in the title of every chapter, which contributes to the different styles of two translations.
