Curtailment or Adjustment:the Enlightenment of Occident Social Security Reform in Economic Globalization

在经济全球化不断扩展的大背景下,福利国家面临着削减社会保障的压力。重点考察了美国、斯堪的纳维亚国家和南欧福利国家在应对经济全球化进程中的社会保障改革实践,研究表明经济全球化因素并没有导致福利国家屈于压力削减福利,而是促使其加大了社会保障的政策调整与投入力度。

Under the economic globalization background, welfare countries face the impact of cutting down the social security. This study mainly investigates the social security reform of United States, north Europe and south Europe countries during the process of economic globalization. The study indicates that the economic globalization does not result in the cutting down of social welfare, instead, the globalization make those countries enhance the welfare investment and the adjustment of the social security policy.
