Researches on Breeding of New Types Good Quality Millet

阐述了优质新株型谷子育种研究的新思路、新方法及育种特点和效果;指出春谷和夏谷优良基因的互补,可创造出新种质和选育出新品种,并能扩大品种的适应区域;提出进一步改善品质、增强抗性,才有利于谷子生产发展。

New way of thinking and new method on the breeding of new type millet was elaborated in the paper. The characters of millet breeding and the effect were also discussed. It was pointed out that supplementary of spring millet and summer millet fine genes may create the new germplasm. New varieties can be bred by this method and their adaption region enlarged. It were proposed that further improvement of the quality and the enhancement of resistance will be beneficial to millet production.
