Typing and genetic characteristics of staphylococcal cassette chromosome mec element of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus

摘要 耐甲氧西林金黄色葡萄球菌(MRSA)是医院和社区感染的重要致病菌。SCCmec遗传元件不仅与MRSA的耐药产生密切相关,而且是MRSA感染株分型的重要指标。此文对MRSA中SCCmec遗传元件的结构特点、命名原则及分型方法等方面的研究进展作了综述。 Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is an important pathogenic organism for both hospital and community infections. Staphylococcal cassette chromosome mec (SCC mec ) is correlated with the resistance of MRSA against β-lactams. It is also a key marker of typing for MRSA strains. The progress of genetic characteristics, nomenclature and typing of SCCmec are reviewed in this paper.
