盐城市麻风病监测工作方案实施前后病例发现效果比较

Comparison of effects of leprosy case detection before and after implementation of disease surveillance in Yancheng

目的:比较盐城市实施麻风病监测工作方案前后早期发现麻风病人的效果。方法:运用急性弛缓性麻痹(AFP)的监测方法,实行麻风疑似病例报告制度,建立以早期发现病人为目的的麻风监测系统。结果:实施麻风病监测工作方案后,麻风疑似病例报告率、病人发现率分别是实施监测前的1.16倍、1.25倍,平均延迟期比前3年缩短5.18个月。结论:在麻风病低流行地区建立麻风监测系统可作为早期发现麻风病人的方法。

Objective： To compare the effects of early case detection of leprosy before and after implementation of disease surveillance in Yancheng City. Methods： Acute flaccid paralysis （AFP） surveillance system was applied to report leprosy cases. Results： After the implementation of the surveillance system, the number of suspected cases reported and the numbers of leprosy cases detected were as 1.16 times and 1.25 times as those before the implementation of the system. The detection delay was shortened by 5.18 months, on average, when compared before and after the implementation of the system. Conclusion： The surveillance system can be used as one of the methods in early case detection in areas with a low endemic of leprosy.
