After analyzing the trend of industrial convergence of manufacturing industry and modem service industry based on the theories of the industrial cluster, the paper clarify the basic points and issues of industrial convergence of manufacturing industry and modem service industry of Changsha. The paper points out the strategy and principle of industrial convergence from reference to some developed city, and at last, it gave some advices to promote the industrial convergence between advantage industry, emerging industry, traditional industry and modern service industry.
