Building up the Strength of NGO in China

非政府组织作为与政府、企业并列的第三部门,已经成为推进国家现代化建设、构建社会主义和谐社会的一支重要力量。但目前它们存在着一定的困境和问题,要下大力加强非政府组织的能力建设,让它们为构建社会主义和谐社会做出应有的贡献。

As a third category of organizations parallel to government and enterprises, NGOs are playing an ever more important role in a developing country like China. The strength of NGOs is, in a sense, the level of modernization and social harmony of a society. Unfortunately, China＇ s NGOs are having some problems and in some predicament. Therefore special measures should be taken to ease the development and accelerate the building up of NGOs so as to make the country benefit more from her civil force.
