The New York City Department of Education started to reform its the system of schools educational evaluation and issued its first Progress Report in November 2007,which has aroused much attention. The New York City Progress Report provides an overall assessment of the school＇s contribution to student learning,and the school quality of teaching is evaluated by this grade. The people in the society have different responses on the report.
