The Changes of Chinese Social Stratification Structure In the 30 years of Reform and Opening Up

本文认为改革开放30年来中国社会发生了巨大变化,其中最重要的变化之一是社会分层结构的变化。作者从五个方面阐明了这一变化,即从以身份社会指标转化为以非身份指标来区分社会地位,经济分层取代政治分层,贫富差距扩大,社会中心群体与边缘群体关系的变化,新社会阶层的形成。

The paper suggests that great changes have taken place in Chinese society during the past 30 years, and one of the most important changes is the changes of social stratification structure. The author states all of these changes of the structure of Chinese social stratification with five aspects, namely, distinguishing the social status from identity target to non-identity target, the economic stratification replacing the political stratification, the widening gap between the poor and the rich, the relation change between social central group and the marginal group, and the form ation of new social stratification.
