This paper explores the possibility that personality traits are influence on intelligence structure.According to personality trait hypothesis about the differentiation of intelligence,some traits especially neuroticism may affect intelligence structure,and scores of the trait-dimension determine the degree of intelligence differentiation.Moreover,there may be a non-linearity relationship between intelligence and personality trait.Although the hypothesis has no consistent evidences as yet,it implies the latent effects of personality trait on intelligence structure.Future researches should resolve the problem of measurement instruments,compare extreme-trait subjects to common group,and reveal the mechanisms of trait-level differentiation on intelligence.
