Group Herd Organizations of Khitan people in Jing Dynasty

金灭辽后对一部分契丹人采用群牧组织来统治,金朝群牧从名称、分布及管理上基本与辽朝相同,群牧所中的契丹牧民对金朝作出重大贡献,而牧民起义也给金朝社会带来不稳定因素。

Jin rulers used the group herd organizations to rule a part of Khitan people after, Liao Dynasty was destroyed. The names, distribution, and administration in Jin Dynasty were the basically same with those in Liao Dynasty. The Herdsmen in the group herd organizations made a great contribution to Jin Dynasty, and the uprising of the herdsmen also brought instability to Jin Dynasty.
