近年来,与警察有关的恶性事件频发。警察权作为公权力中最重要的一种权属,它的异化无论是对公民权利的侵害,还是对社会秩序的破坏,其作用力都是不可小视的。为了早日实现依法治国和社会主义和谐法制的目标,我们需要从法律的视角对警察权进行重新界定,并就如何规范警察权进行初步的制度建构,以期使警察权能更加合理、合法地行使。
