The author introduced the development path of Cavendish Laboratory of Cambridge University. Pacticularly he pointed out that all the previous directors of this laboratory had innovation ideas, and reformed the main research areas. Having had a series of results which promoted scince developmeat, the laboratory cultivated a great number of famous scientists as well. It is therefore that we can deem that laboratory is the cradle for nursing at innovative talents, and is the heart of modern university.
