Starting from the cultivation of qualified talents with creative ability for the armed forces, the paper discribes that the reform of the machanical foundation experiment center should insist on the modern teaching ideas and the cultivation of practice ability of students, to strengthen the importance and urgency for the construction and development of the experiment center. Thinking about the practical situation of our university, the paper introduces the reform of experiment teaching system, methods and management mode. All of these methods can fully inspire the initiative of the teachers and students and give a full play to them, and increase the application efficiency of the experiments and the instruments to promote the construction and development of mechanical foundation courses.
