社会和谐是中国人民几千年不懈追求的价值取向,是倡导中华民族精神的主旋律。在当代中国,面对社会种种不和谐因素,缓和并解决这些矛盾,构建人与人、人与社会和人与自然和谐统一的社会主义和谐社会,是摆在人们面前的一个重大课题。儒学是我们民族的一份极其丰富,极其宝贵的文化遗产,对中华民族的心理、习俗、价值观等诸多方面均有重要的影响。本文重点挖掘儒学中诸如"天人合一""仁者爱人""中庸之道"等和谐思想,找出与当今构建社会主义和谐的契合点,以期用儒家和谐思想为构建"人与自然""人与社会""人与人""人与自身"全面和谐的社会主义社会提供一些启示。

Promoted as China＇ s national spirit, to construct a harmonious society is the unremitting pursue of the Chinese people in their several thousand years＇ history. However, there exist various unharmonious factors and contradictions in present China. Therefore, it is a very important task to build a harmonious socialist society which features the harmony between man and nature, between people as well as between people and society. Confucianism is the precious cultural heritage of the Chinese people and it has exercised significant impacts on psychology, customs and values of the Chinese nation. This paper explores into some of the Confucian concepts on harmony and finds out the link between them and the construction of a harmonious socialist country in order to provide certain enlightenments for such efforts..
