摘要
半波电压是表征电光调制时电压对相位差影响大小的一个非常重要的物理量.以铌酸锂(LiNbO3)晶体的横向电光调制为例,具体分析了半波电压的物理意义,讨论了输出光强与外加电压的关系,介绍了3种测量方法(光通信模拟法、极值测量法、倍频调制法)的测量原理和操作过程,对3种方法的测量结果进行对比讨论,并且提出了两种改进线性调制的方法.最后介绍了电光开关的一种应用.
Half-wave voltage is an importance physical quantity that figures to how voltage influences phasic difference in the electro-optic modulation. Exemplifying LiNbO3 crystal transverse electro-optic modulation, this paper analyzes physical signification of the half-wave voltage and discusses the relation between the deferent optic intensity and the adscititious voltage. Three metrical methods such as optical communication stimulant, extremal measure, and frequency doubling modulation are introduced. Two ways to improve the linear modulation are proposed and an application of electro-optic switch is referred.
