The paper introduced the follow-up technology of between different channels and different regulating modes in microprocessor-based excitation regulator. Combined with the examples of excitation regulator from ABB Company and ELIN company,the features of different follow-up methods were discussed,and the items to which should be paid attention in testing different follow-up algorithm were pointed out.
