大学精神是大学办学过程中形成的稳定而有特色,并为大学成员所认同的理想、信念、价值观和行为准则,是师生员工在长期的教学、科研及生活中逐步形成和发展起来的一种群体意识。传统的大学精神正逐渐丧失,因而重构大学精神是当务之急。其重点在于培养广博知识与综合能力,塑造独立人格,陶冶人文情怀,激发创新精神。

The spirit of University is recognized ideal, faith, value and principal of behavior, which is stably and distinctively developed in the process of establishing University. It is also collective consciousness during the long term teaching, researching and living of faculty and staff. The spirit of University is decreasing with the passage of time; therefore it attaches great importance to the reconstruction of the spirit of university and the ideal of University.
