This article analyses the reasons of ground deformation in the pipe jacking engineering, based on Mindlin＇s solution, establishes the calculation model of ground deformation caused by jacking force and friction, and discusses the method how to select the parameters in the calculation model. The established model, are applied in a pipe jacking engineering, and the result indicates that the conclusion accord with the fact.
