地图是表达地理信息最传统、最恰当的方式,广义的地理信息不仅包括自然地理信息,也包括社会地理信息,而社会地理信息数据大多是非空间属性数据,因此非空间属性数据地图的设计研究即成为必需。本文运用MapInfo软件强大的(专题)地图的制作功能,处理高等教育研究成果数据,化枯燥数表为生动直观易读的图形,在研究非空间的纯属性数据之专题地图设计实现方面,做出切实有益的尝试。

The map is the most traditional and appropriate way of expressing the geography information. The generalized geography information includes the physical geographic information and the social geographic information. At the same time, the major portion of the social geographic information is non - space attribute data. Thus, it is necessary to study the designing method of non - space attribute thematic map. By using MapInfo, we make thematic maps based on higher education research data and turn the arid mathematical table into the vivid direct - viewing legible graph, which is a practical beneficial try on studying the designing method of non - space attribute thematic map.
