A Brief Comment on the Education of Talented Persons in Warring-states Period

春秋战国是中国历史上的大变革大发展时期,也是人才辈出的时期。其时,私学的兴起,养士制度的形成和稷下学宫的设立均表明,重视智力投资,重视发展教育事业,是实施科教兴国、人才强国战略的基础工程。

In Chinese history the Warring - states Period was a period of great transformation as well as great development, and was also a period filled with generations and generations of talented people. During that period, the rise of private schooling, the formation of adopting talented persons, and the establishment of learning palaces all indicated the people then paid much attention to fostering scholars, to taking educational investment seriously, and to expanding educational undertakings, which became the foundation project of relying on science and education to rejuvenate the nation, and of making the country powerful by talented persons.
